Alocasia

Alocasia 'Zebrina' because of the Zebra like stripes on their stems.
Plant height approx 70cm.
Pot dimensions approx 18cm wide x 19cm deep.

CARE GUIDE
- Avoid placing in direct sunlight as this can cause the leaves to scorch. They will suffer if the light is too low.
- During winter, Alocasia go into dormancy where leaves will drop and the plant might die back altogether. Don't throw it away! Come spring, it will burst back to life if kept warm and moist.
- They love a kitchen or bathroom, a room with raised humidity levels are best.
- Keep the soil moist using warm water. Don't allow the soil to dry out but be wary not to overwater. Will require less water when dormant.
- They need to be kept warm, normal room temperature is ideal. Avoid cold draughts.
- Toxic to pets.
